We, the founders, met as students chatting over bagels in cafés along the East Coast of the United States.


After settling in Costa Rica in 1997, we became pioneers in promoting bagels and opened Boston Bagel, the first bagel bakery in the country. Over time, we expanded our lineup with other breads more familiar to Costa Rican cuisine. Thanks to the quality of our products and service, demand grew—especially for formats that simplify final preparation for consumers. We developed frozen dough presentations for pizza and bread, raw or par-baked. In just minutes, you can enjoy a freshly baked product.
 
In 2012, we began exporting our products to the rest of Central America.

This certification ensures that all of our processes—from raw material reception to final product distribution—adhere to strict controls on hygiene, traceability, and safe food handling. We operate under a food safety management system based on the preventive approach of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), combined with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and a rigorous continuous improvement plan.

Our quality team continuously conducts internal audits, staff training, and standards verification to ensure that every product leaving our facilities is safe, trustworthy, and of the highest quality.
